Why can't I do it?

Have I been doing what I made the vow to do.

Exercise? No.
Eat healthy? No.
Eat no fast food? No.
Drink no coke? Yes.

1 out of 4. That's bad.

I have been doing something that I have never done though. I stop eating when I start to feel full instead of eating just to finish what is on the plate. That's a step in the right direction. Now, if I could just get motivated...

Day One

It's April 1st. Time to begin this project! For those of you who don't know what this project is about, please read this! I originally planned to start this in February but life kinda got in the way with moving and all.

I got off to a good start. This was what I had for breakfast!


Today's menu consists of the following . . .

Lunch: Lean Cuisine Chicken Philly Flatbread

Fresh Start

I plan to officially launch the weight loss project on April 1st. It may be April Fool's day but this is no joke. I am intent on losing this weight.

Color Me Shocked!

As you know, I had originally planned to start this weight loss in February but decided to hold off because we were moving. I knew I would not have time to work out or eat healthy. And I was right. I was so scared to step on the scale because I felt like I had gained 5 lbs or more. To my surprise, I had lost 3.5 lbs. I guess all that heavy lifting and the stairs helped after all.

Weight Loss: Take Two

We have finally settled in at our new place so now I have NO excuses. It's time to eat better and start working out again. I fully intend to lose this weight. I am beginning to get depressed about this weight thing. Every time I look at myself, I am disgusted. I need to stop the laziness and get moving toward reaching my goal!
